Ola Kino is private software built and used by one person to track their own health. It has a single account. There is no sign-up, and no second user exists.
What is stored
Daily self-reported wellbeing notes, data read from the account owner’s Oura ring, and public weather and air-quality readings for Honolulu. All of it lives in one SQLite database on a hosting volume in a single region, together with backups of that same database.
What leaves the server
Two outbound requests are made, both to public environmental data services: Open-Meteo for weather and the US EPA AirNow service for air quality.
Those requests contain a city and a date. Nothing else. No identifier, no account information, and nothing the owner has recorded about themselves is ever included.
Nothing is sold, shared, published, or sent to any other service. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party script of any kind on any page.
Oura data
With the owner’s explicit consent, this app reads sleep, readiness and activity summaries from their own Oura account. Access is read-only. The data is used solely to look for patterns alongside the owner’s own notes, and is never sent anywhere else.
Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Oura account page, without needing this app’s cooperation. Doing so stops all further reading immediately.
Deletion
The database on the hosting volume is the only copy, apart from its backups. To have it deleted, contact the address below; the account, its records, and the backups are removed together.
Cookies
One cookie, holding a sign-in session for the single account. It is not used for tracking and there are no others.
Contact
This page exists partly because connecting an external service requires one. It is written to be accurate rather than to satisfy a form.
